A small shop people can trust.

Halina Studio is a small online shop run by Marlene Sebastian in Windsor, Ontario.

What I wanted was a small shop with integrity. Not a brand racing to scale. Not a feed full of strangers. A small, curated place where I sell other people's beautiful work alongside a few things I design myself, and where the people who buy from me know who I am, why I'm doing it, and what I'm still figuring out.

That's what Halina Studio is.

We carry stationery, kitchen goods, craft kits, paper, and small textiles from Canadian women-led and family-led brands. Alongside that, I design a small paper line called By Halina Studio — Lunchbox Notes, recipe cards, bookmarks, and magnetic notepads for the fridge.

I'm being honest about the design work because I want you to know what you're buying. The paper products are designed by me. I choose the layouts, the color palettes, the restraint, the typography, using licensed elements  composed into authored compositions. The illustration practice is something I'm developing in the background. Future drops may include more of my own original drawing. You'll see it happen here.

The name Halina is Filipino — it means "come" or "come here." My family used it the way you'd say "come on in, sit down, eat something." Here, at Halina Studio, we invite other makers we trust.

Drops happen every 2 to 3 months. The newsletter is the best way to know when the next one opens.

Slow down. Think on paper. Give with intention.

How the shop works.

Drops are small on purpose. Most bundles cap at 25 to 50 units. Some maker products only have three or four in stock — when they're gone, they're gone until the next drop, or until I reorder. If you're seeing something you love and the stock count is low, that's real, not a marketing tactic.

Orders ship within three business days from Windsor, Ontario. Every box leaves with a thank-you note, free postcard and sticker sheets — small things, the kind I'd want to find when I open a box.
